Charles Walton (Pete) Miles died Saturday, January 16, 1999
at Gallatin Health Care Center in Warsaw, Kentucky. He was 78 years old and had been ill for sometime. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II and had been an auto mechanic
for 40 years. He was a member of the Warsaw Apostolic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Bell
Morris Miles in 1986, his youngest son, David Michael Miles in 1996, and a sister, Ruby Elizabeth Miles Dryden in 1998.
Survisors include three sons, Charles Robert Miles, Dry Ridge; Jimmy Miles and Mark Miles, Warsaw; two daughters,
Wanda Lee Miles Stephens, Florence; Lorene Miles Scudder,
Warsaw; sisters, Eva Lou Wilson and Alma Satchwell of Warsaw. 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p m on Wednesday, January 20, 1999 at Carlton-Lowder Funeral Home in Warsaw, Ky. Officiating minister was Bro. Miles Miller. Burial was in
Warsaw Cementery. Pallbearers were Gale Liter, Darrell Wilson, Timmy Miles, Rodney Scudder, Denny Lay, and Kenny Holt. Honorary pallbearers were Jeff and Joe Scudder.
