Mrs. Marjorie Beckingham Winters,95,passed away Sunday,May 16,1999,at Bassett Healthcare,Cooperstown.
She was born Oct.8,1903, in Frankfort,the daughter of Malcolm and Maude Clemens Cameron.
She married Edwin James Beckingham in Christ Church,Herkimer,on June 9,1928. He predeceased her in 1956. In 1974, she married Coral Winters in the Federated Church of Christ,Jordanville. He predeceased her in Zephyrhills,Fla.,on May 28 1994.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs.Lee (Beverly) Fickbohm of Cranberry Lake; a son Theodore Beckingham of East Springfield; a stepson, Gordon Winters of Zephyrhills,FLA.; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Winters was predeceased by two brothers,James Cameron and Maynard Cameron.
Cremation took place at the Leatherstocking Crematory Inc., Cherry Valley.
Committal services and burial will be held on Saturday May 22, 1999, in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer, at 11 a.m. with Rev. John Wilde, pastor of the Church of Christ Uniting,Richfield Springs, officiating.
A memorial service will be held on July 24, 1999, at 11 a.m. at the East Springfield Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Wilde, pastor of the Church of Christ Uniting, Richfield Springs, officiating.
