Claude Creekmore, Granny's second husband, is the (step)grandfather that I remember. They had a farm in Placerville, Calif. She lived many years after his death and then was buried next to her first husband and young daughter with the hyphenated headstone (presumably) to denote the relationships.
Clarence Gillespie was technically her step-sister's son but the age difference between Granny and her step-sister (Ada Nellie Lillie #102959748)was such that they were not raised together in the same household and, I am told, these circumstances were not unusual in that era.
