She was born Feb 2, 1913 in Lawrence County, daughter of the late James and America Pinkerman Sanders.
She had lived in Lawrence County all of her life. She was a former employee of Selby Shoe Factory.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Coffman, Nov 10, 1983, two brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. John (Linda) Sanders Jr. of Route 1, Ironton. Glenda Coffman of South Point and Mrs. James (Hazel) Miles and Anna Barr, both of Colonial Heights, Va.; one son, Charles H. Steele of Ironton; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three sistesr, Mrs. Maylan (Violet) Cleary, Mrs. Andy (Ida) Shope and Stella Hanshaw, all of Ironton.
Funeral services are Thursday at 1pm at Phillips Funeral Home by the Rev. Tommy Lawless and the Rev. James Cremeans. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery.
