Mrs. McShan, 73, Dies at Home In Mabank Saturday
Mrs. Annie Sealy McShan, 73, wife of E. F. McShan, long time resident of Mabank, died at the family home in that town Saturday.
Funeral services were held on Sunday by her pastor, Rev. G. E. Rushing, assisted by Dr. L. D. Rose of Athens. Interment was at Mankin Cemetery, near Trinidad.
Mrs. McShan was born in Choctaw County Mississippi on March 11, 1867.
She was united in marriage to E. F. McShan on December 6, 1882. To this union were born eight children, four of whom preceded her in death.
On last December 6th, Mr. and Mrs. McShan celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.
Besides her husband, deceased is survived by two sons, P. E. McShan of Mabank and John O. McShan of Lancaster, Texas; and two daughters, Mrs. Glyn Crawford of Carrizo Springs Texas and Mrs. Neul McKissack of Dallas. There are eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mrs. McShan united with the Primitive Baptist Church in July 1893, and was a member of the Corinth Church, South of Athens at the time of her death.Daughter of Lorenzo Buford Sealy and Delilah (Parham) Williams. Wife of Eugene Ferdinand McShan.
