News has been received here of the death of R.E. Sealy, formerly of Mabank and well known there and at Eustace, in a Big Spring hospital on May 20 following a major operation. He died of a heart attack.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Lamesa, with burial in the Lamesa Cemetery. He moved to Lamesa 22 years ago.
Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Beulah Hunter of Mabank, Mrs. Jake Anthony of Eustace, Mrs. Imogene Randolph of Andrews and Mrs. C.S. Scott of Lamesa; and four sons, W.E. Sealy and Eugene Sealy Jr. of Lamesa, V.F. Sealy of Tallihina, Oklahoma, and Jake Sealy of Ackerly.
