Genevieve Traver Howland, widow of the late George Howland, died suddenly at her home in Millerton Aug 17. She was a daughter of William & Mary Gassney Traver and was born in Amenia Union Nov 4, 1877. She resided in the town of North East for 35 years. Surviving are four children, Mrs Arthur Crossman, Fairfield, CT; Miss Margaret Costin and John Costin, Millerton, by a former marriage, and Cyrus Howland, Millerton; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Burial in St Bernard's Cemetery, Sharon Valley, CT
