Virginia Dunn 85, of Pasadena died of heart failure January 26, at North Arundel Hospital following a lenghty illness.

Mrs. Dunn (nee Clark) was born in Baltimore and resided in Anne Arundel Coutny for 43 years. She was a homemaker and attended two years of college.

She was a life member of Maryland State Fire Chiefs Auxiliary past president of Powhatan Beach Volunteer Fire Department an active member and music director of Ellicott City Southern Methodist Church an active member of Anne Arundel County Volunteer Fire Department and a active member of Springfield State Hospital and American Rescue Workers.

Among her hobbies were playing the piano at church playing the accordian, sewing, crocheting, gardening flowers, cooking and canning foods.

She is survived by her husband Edward M. Dunn Sr.; three sons, Edward M. Dunn Jr. of Elkridge, Elmer E. and William T. Dunn of Pasadena; one daughter, Doris V. Ridgeway of Glen Burnie; a brother, Thomas H Clark of Overlea; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were at Kirkley Funeral Home in Glen Burnie, Wednesday with Gen. Paul Martin officiating. Burial was in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
