On Sunday morning, January 20, 1924 about 9 o'clock Mrs. E. D. BADEN was found dead in bed at her home in Fanny street. Mrs. BADEN had been in ill health for some time, but her death was unexpected. The deceased was born in Appotomax, (sic)Va. on March 1, 1868, and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius SIMMONS. In the year 1884 she was united in marriage to Mr. F. S. HARVEY in Appotomax, Va. They came to McDonald in 1885. To this union were born two children, both of whom are dead. Mr. HARVEY died in the year 1916. In the year 1919 Mrs. HARVEY was united in marriage to Mr. E. D. BADEN in the First Baptist church of McDonald. The deceased was an energetic and loyal worker among her people and her church. She was also a member of the Household of Ruth, Eastern Star and Daughters of Elks. Besides her husband, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lee LYNCH of McDonald. Funeral services were held from the First Baptist church on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in charge of the Rev. H. G. HOOE, assisted by the Rev. G. E. SALLIE of Kingston, and Rev. W. M. WOODSON of Wellsville, Ohio. Interment was in the Robinson's Run cemetery. January 24, 1924 / McDonald PA Outlook
