Bonnie M. Jennings, age 90, longtime resident of Massena, Iowa passed away September 15, 2007. She was born February 13, 1917 in Massena to J.H. Pace and Verdie South Pace, and graduated from Massena High School. Bonnie married Paul Jennings on September 22, 1940 and together raised son Dean. Bonnie and her husband operated the Pete's Panatorium Dry Cleaners and she also was a news reporter for the Massena News.
Paul preceded her in death in April of 2000. Bonnie is survived by her son, Dean Jennings and his wife, Kathy, of Council Bluffs, and their children, Matthew and his wife, Marie Jennings, of Kansas City, Margie Jennings, of St. Paul, Minn.; brothers, John Pace and wife, Gene, of Ames, Iowa, Vernon Pace and wife, Marlee, of Bloomington, Indiana, Denny Pace and wife, Aldyce, of Garden Grove, California; sister, Jean McKee and husband, Bill, of San Bernadino, California; sister-in-law, Bun Pace of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Visitation Tuesday 10 a.m to 11 a.m. followed by services at 11:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Massena, Iowa. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Massena. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bethany Lutheran Home.
