Blanche Hoover Fees Dies in Washington

Blanche Maude Hoover was born at Onaga, Kansas, October 18, 1889, the daughter of William Merritt Hoover and Mary Josephine Peyrouse Hoover. She received her schooling at Onaga and graduated from Onaga High School. She taught school for a while.

On June 12, 1912, she was united with Thomas Henry Gideon. To this union were born Marietta Blanche Gideon Smith, Thomasine Altha Gideon Connel and Dale Edward Gideon.

In 1930 he first husband died. On September 9, 1930, she was united in holy matrimony with John W. Fees at Lewiston, Idaho, On November 19, 1964 they were married and sealed for time eternity. She left this vale of tears Sunday, December 24, 1967. Funeral services were at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Kennewick, Washington, on Thursday, at 11:00 a.m. Interment was January 2 at Onaga, Kansas.

Survivors are John W. Fees, Richland, Washington, Thomasine Altha Connel, Salt Lake City, Utah, Dale Edward Gideon, Bellingham, Washington, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
