oyce Eileen Yocom, age 75 of Hobart passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012. She was born on April 29, 1936 in Flandreau, South Dakota to the late Daniel and Augusta Doyle.
She was a longtime member of St Bridget Church. She enjoyed gardening and working puzzles. She will be remembered by her family as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Jerald Yocom of Hobart, IN; 2 daughters, Sandra (Michael) O'Brien of Hobart, IN; Suzanne (George) Schmidt of Homer Glen, IL; 1 son, Steven (Michelle) Yocom of Bettendorf, IA; 2 brothers, Arnold (Carol) Doyle, and Loren (Donna) Doyle both of Rapid City, SD, 12 grandchildren, Kevin, Aaron, and Nolan O'Brien, Chris, Julia, Reid, Mary, Gregory, Luke, and Annie Schmidt, Levi and Christine Yocom.
A mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. directly at St Bridget Church, corner of Front and Center Streets, Hobart with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating.
