Arnold Daniel Doyle was born March 2, 1934, in Egan, SD to Daniel and Auguste Doyle. He died November 3, 2018 at the Hospice House due to an earlier fall that resulted in a serious head injury. The family moved to the Lead area in the late 1930's and when the mines closed during WWII, they moved into Rapid City where Arnold graduated from RCHS in 1952 and from SDM&T in 1961 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He began working for Dilly Construction where he later became a partner and then in the late 1980's with Lang Construction finally retiring in 1996.
On December 29, 1956, Arnold married Carol Lange in Rapid City, and they are parents of two daughters who survive him, Tawnya Gardener and Michele (Troy) Caswell as well as three grandchildren and one great-grandchild and his brother Loren (Donna). He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joyce (Jerry) Yocom
