Monroe - Former Seminary Instructor Passes

The death of K. K. Blacker of Murray, Friday came as a shock to the people of Monroe and also to the seminary students who were perhaps better acquainted with him as a beloved instructor in the seminary here about 6 years ago. He and Mrs. Blacker made many friends while here, who regret his passing.


Mr.and Mrs. H. Roland Tietjen attended the funeral services held in Murray Sunday. A poem composed by the late Wm. A. Warnock of this city, when he was 87 years of age, was read at the funeral, and the grave was dedicated by Mr. Tietjen at the request of Mr. Blacker, before his death.
