Edward's obituary appeared in the Jersey Journal on January 16, 1973 and reads as follows: "Edward C. Outwater. A veteran of WWII, Edward C. Outwater, 65, of Jersey City, will be buried Friday, after 11 a.m. Mass at St. Paul's Church, Jersey City. Mr. Outwater, a lifelong resident of Jersey City was employed as a stock handler for the Jersey City Medical Center. He died at his home. William Schlemm Funeral Home, Jersey City, is in charge of arrangements."
