She was the daughter of Valentine Charles Outwater I (1884-1960) aka Val Outwater; and Mary Smith (1890-1965) aka Mae Smith.

Siblings:
Together they had the following children: Valentine Charles Outwater II (1906); Edward C. Outwater (1908-1973); Frances Outwater (1910-2000) who married Eugene Kelly; Eleanor Catherine Outwater (1912-1978) who married William Joseph Burke I (1905-1996); Valentine Charles Outwater III (1918-1997) who married Mildred Sawyer; Florence Outwater (1918-?); Louise Outwater (1920- ) who married Joseph Joseph Farrell (1918-1991); and Catherine Outwater (1926-?) who married Edward Sawyer I.

Mary Outwater Feeney, retired proofreader. South Plainfield, New Jersey. Mary L. Outwater Feeney, 82, died Sunday (July 7, 1996) at Muhlenberg Regional Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Feeney lived there until 1983, when she moved to South Plainfield. Mrs. Feeney worked as a proofreader proofreader for EBASCO Co. of New York City for 15 years, retiring in 1984. Prior to that, she worked as a proofreader proofreader for the former Jersey City Printing Co. in Jersey City. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church in South Plainfield and she had been a member of its Feast of St. Anthony Carnival Committee. Her husband, Martin Feeney, died in 1975. Two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia A. Piscatore of South Plainfield; a son, Martin P. Feeney of Randolph; three sisters, Francis Kelly of Jersey City, Louise Farrellof Colonia and Catherine Sawyer of Toms River; a brother, Valentine Outwater of Jersey Jersey City; and six grandchildren. Services will be 10:15 a.m. Thursday at the McCriskin Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church in South Plainfield. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday Tuesday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Morris County Association Association of Retarded Citizens, Morris Plains, N.J., 07950.
