Mrs. Geneva Acord
Mrs. Geneva Acord, aged 95, of Clarksville died Saturday, March 4, 1995, at Countryside Manor Nursing Home.
She was a Jehovah's Witness and the widow of Troy Laughter and Herbert Acord.
She is survived by four daughters, Jo Hughes of Lamar, Pearl Watson of Russellville, Tess Lacy of Macclenny, Fla., and Kathleen Neal of Clarksville; one stepson, Dan Acord of Dallas, Texas; one stepdaughter, Ruby Nowomy of Clarksville; one sister, Daisy Bogue of Lamar; eight grandchildren, Jeny, Troy, Ron, Larry, Becky, and Debbie Watson, Doug Laughter, and James Hughes; 16 step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one niece, Bonnie Byrd; and six nephews.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, at Shinn Funeral Service Chapel in Russellville with Rex Coon officiating. Burial was in Reynolds Cemetery near Lamar.
Active pallbearers were Von Kinsey, Neil Webb, Don Morgan, R. L. Speaks, Bob Minks, and James Skaggs.
Honorary pallbearers were Loyd Reynolds, Norman Reynolds, and Leon Wilkins.
