Dallas-Funeral services for Dwight L. (Dwight) Robnett, 68, of 2560 Gibbs Williams Rd,. Dallas, will be at 2 p.m. today at the Dudley M. Hughes Chapel on Hampton Rd. with Rev. Billy Lucas and Rev. Robert Renfro officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery under direction of Owens Funeral Home of Wolfe City.
Mr. Robnett died at 8:37 p.m. Thursday in a Dallas hospital following an illness of two weeks.
Born on April 12, 1905 in Wolfe City, he was the son of C.R. and Allie Hanna Robnett. He married Mildred Harrell on Nov. 10, 1923 in Wolfe City.
An Army veteran, Mr. Robnett was a retired employee of the Dallas County tax office. He was a member of the Keistwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mildred Robnett of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Jones of Tustin, Calif., and Mrs. Ann Banks of Dallas; two brothers, Zeph Robnett of Bonham and Tom Robnett of Wolfe City; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Henington of Wolfe City; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be W.M. Coons, C.P. Kilgore, A.G. Copeland, D.C. Caperton, and C.P. Yarbrough.
