Graveside services for Carl Holloway, 87, of Wagoner, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 15, 1996 at the Stilwell City Cemetery, in Stilwell, OK with Reverend Jim Williams officiating, under the direction of Shipman Funeral Home in Wagoner, OK. Carl was born to W.A. and Amanda (Patterson) Holloway on January 3, 1909 in Sallisaw, OK. He died Tuesday, February 13, 1996 in the Collinsville Manor Nursing Home, in Collinsville, OK. Carl had lived in the Wagoner area since 1970 until last December when he moved to Collinsville due to his health. Carl retired after numerous years as a building contractor in the Tulsa, OK area. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, loving the outdoors and the lake area.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughter; Wanda Fay "Terry" Shurtleff of Tulsa, OK; a granddaughter, Jodylea Candenhead McBride and her husband, Brian, of Tulsa, OK; a grandson, Robert W. Candenhead and family of Edmond, OK; and a great-granddaughter; Kjersti Jo McBride.
