Obit - Cecil Whig Newspaper - August 15, 1908 - - - - James Spencer Biddle,formerly of Cecil County, and well known to so many people of the city, died Saturday, August 8, 1908 at the Union Protestant Infirmery in Baltimore, Maryland; in the 64th year of his life. Born on October 26, 1844 to Joshua Fletcher and Rebecca Kannady Biddle. Mr. Biddle was a person on the Chesapeake Steamship Line from Baltimore, Maryland to Norfolk, Virginia, and he was a popular officer. Funeral services held from his sister residence, Mrs. Benjamin P. Hansen in Baltimore, Maryland. Burial was in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Elkton, Cecil County, Maryland.
