Born on October 26, 1844 to Joshua Fletcher and Rebecca Kannady Biddle. Mr. Biddle was a person on the Chesapeake Steamship Line from Baltimore, Maryland to Norfolk, Virginia, and he was a popular officer. Funeral services held from his sister residence, Mrs. Benjamin P. Hansen in Baltimore, Maryland. Burial was in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Elkton, Cecil County, Maryland.
