"The sad news, though not unexpected, of the death of Mr. Robert L. Biddle, last Wednesday, in Cecil, Md., caused profound sorrow to his numerous former companions and friends here. Up to a few months past he was a generous and popular member of society here."
He died at the home of his sister Clara near Cayot's Corner.
