Stella Frances Allen, 75, died Tuesday, October 6 at her home in Pratt, Kansas. Born November 1883 in Springfield, Missouri to Charles W and Jennie V Holden, she had lived in Pratt since 1945. She was a member of the Church of Christ and had been a sales representative for a national clothing company. Survivors included two sons, one in Pratt and one California, plus three daughters, all in California. Also, a brother Orville Holden and sister Nettie Linder, both of Washington, plus eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her funeral was 2 p.m. Friday at the First Church of Christ, Pratt, with Robert Tinius and Ernest Sanderson officiating.
