Three Oaks: Funeral services for Mrs. Rozella Parren, 87, 1016 Edwards Street, Niles, a former Three Oaks resident, were to be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon in the Pifer funeral home in Niles with the Rev. John MacLachlan officiating. Burial was to be in Riverside cemetery, north of Three Oaks. Mrs. Parren, who died Sunday following a one year illness, was born in Sodus on Feb 8, 1878, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Versaw. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Gordon and Mrs. Paul J.(Dorthy Rozella) Kennedy, both of Niles; a son, Wilfred Parren, Cassopolis; a brother, Frank Versaw Sr., formerly of Three Oaks and now of Barron Lake; two sisters, Mrs. William (Mary) Thompson, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Jack (Violet) LaForge, Fremont, Ind; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
