Walburga Mary Robben Beckman was born on June 20, 1891 at Walker, Kans., to Herman and Walburga Robben, and died Dec. 29, 1971 at Mercy Hospital, Denver, Colo., at the age of 80 years.

She was married on Nov. 4, 1913 to John A. Beckman at Angelus, Kans., and lived in this community until 1939 when they moved to Denver, Colo.

She was preceded in death by three children, Cyril (Bud) 1944, John Wilford 1958, Jane Frances Craven 1966, and son-in-law, Walter T. Sullivan 1960.

She is survived by her husband John A. Beckman; sisters-Mrs. Annie Beckman and Mrs. Maggie Brungardt; brothers-Francis and Tony Robben; children-Gerald Beckman, Felix Beckman, Marie Sullivan, Vivian Drotter, Eunice Zimmerman, Louis Beckman and Joan Beamer; 25 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

The funeral Mass of the Resurrection was held at Mother of God Catholic Church in Denver, Colo. on Dec. 31, with the Rev. Robert Harrington officiating, and burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Oakley, Kan. on Jan. 1, 1972 with the Rev. Joseph Scheetz officiating. Capitol Mortuary, Denver and Hall-Koster Funeral Home was in charge.
