John Anton Beckman was born April 24, 1890 at Angelus, Kansas and died July 15, 1982 at Parkside Manor at Oakley, Kansas.
On November 4, 1913 he was married to Walburga Robben at Angelus, Kansas. To this union 10 children were born.
He is survived by one brother, Frank; three sisters, Agnes Embree, Elizabeth Johnston and Veronica Albers; three sons, Gerald, Felix and Louis; four daughters, Marie Sullivan, Vivian Drotter, Eunice Zimmerman and Joan Beamer, 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at St. Joseph Church, Oakley, Kans. on July 17, 1982 with burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery at Oakley, Kansas.
