Hazel "Pat" Brown, 88, of Rahway passed away Friday in Bayside Manor Assisted Living, Keansburg. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, at 9 a.m. in the Pettit-Davis Funeral Home, 371 W. Milton Ave. Rahway, thence to St. Mary's R.C. Church, where her Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Entombment is in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Born in Newark, Mrs. Brown moved to Rahway in 1950. She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Mary's R.C. Church, where she was a member of the Young at Heart Club and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a member of the Rahway Senior Citzens Club. Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, in 1987, and her daughter, Joan Trainor, in 2003. Surviving are her son, Thomas H. Brown of Bound Brook; three daughters, Patricia Rears and her husband, Thomas, of Brant Beach, Margaret Proctor of Rahway and Susan M. Roeloffs and her husband, Bruce, of Robbinsville, and a brother, Harry Donahue of Marlton. She was also loved by her son-in-law, Ken Trainor; eight grandchildren, Jim, Tricia, Thomas, Kim, Kate, Nicole, Matthew and Megan and four great-grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, Madison and Nathan.
