Livingston -- Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Civic Center Chapel of the Wilson and Kratzer Mortuaries, of Richmond, for Pauline Haas, 69, who died in a Pinole hospital Monday.
Rev. Paul Kersten of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Livingston will officiate with burial following in the Rolling Hills Memorial Park of Richmond.
Mrs. Haas, a housewife, was born in Russia Aug 9, 1912. She moved to Livingston in 1965 and was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Livingston.
Survivors include her husband, Alex Haas, Livingston; three sons, Alex J. Haas Jr., of San Pablo, Gerald Haas of El Verta and Richard Haas of El Sobrante; two daughters, Elma Mathis of Seminole, Okla., and Tricia K. Haas of Livingston; four sisters, Marie VanMark of Fort Collins, Colo., Esther Ekstein of Eureka, Caroline Johnson of Pittsburg, Penn., and Lydia Bender of Russell, Kan.; two brothers, Jake Greenwald and David Greenwald, both of Fort Collins, Colo.; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
