Mrs. William Peters, Sr. Worden, Nov. 5 -- Mrs. William Peters, Sr., died at the home of her son, Fred Peters, here, Monday evening at 10:45 o'clock, at the age of 81 years, eight months and 20 days.

She was born in Moro township on February 14, 1859, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Pape, and was baptized and confirmed at the Prairietown Lutheran Church.

On Feb. 16, 1882, she was married to William Peters at Prairietown. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1940, after they had observed their 58th wedding anniversary.

Surviving are two sons, Fred Peters of Worden, and Ferdinand Peters of Edwardsville; and two daughters, Mrs. Christ Albrecht, Jr., of Worden, and Mrs. Herbert Kuethe, of Prairietown; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Fred and Ferdinand Pape of Prairietown, and two sisters, Mrs. Rheinhard Henke and Mrs. Minnie Henke. One son, William, and a daughter, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at l'clock at the Worden Funeral Home, then at the Braunschweig Lutheran Church, north of Worden, where she was a member. Burial will be at the Worden City Cemetery.
