Albert Glover, 70, of Memphis, employee of Astrostile Battery Warehouse and retired 36-year civil service employee, died Sunday at Baptist Memorial Hospital East. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. Glover, the husband of Laverne Glover, also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Cindy Ware of Southhaven; three sons, Albert Glover Jr., and Lydell Glover, both of Memphis, and George C. Peyton of Jacksonville, Fla; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Roberts of Somerville, Tenn., Mrs. Mamie Giligam of St. Petersburg, Fla, and Mrs. Nadine Baker of Memphis; eight grandchildren; and a great grandchild. The family asks that any memorials be made to American Diabetes Association.
