My Great-Great Grandmother Louise emigrated with her mother, sisters and brother from Ebingen, a small town near Stuttgart in what was then Wurttemburg, now part of Germany. Her family initially emigrated to Circleville, Ohio and then moved on to Indiana. Louisa met her husband in Circleville, and then they moved to Marion, Iowa where they settled and raised a large, loving family. Her daughter Wilhelmina (Minnie) married George Bartlett (he was from Montreal) and they raised their family in Ogden, Utah, where my grandfather and father were both born.
