HANNIBAL ­ Virginia M. Hermann, 74, of Lakeland, Fla., and formerly of Louisiana and Hannibal, died at 1:20 p.m. March 22, 2000, at her home.
Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 25, at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. The Rev. Margie McDaniel Woods will officiate.
There will be no visitation. Friends are invited to the graveside services.
Mrs. Hermann was born March 16, 1926, in Hannibal to Walter and Agnes Brown Blohm.
She was married to James A. Hermann on April 4, 1985. He survives.
Other survivors include her father of Hannibal; one son, Todd Smelser of Louisiana; one brother, Nelson Blohm of the state of Nebraska; two sisters, Juanita Glascock of Frankford and Marilyn Gray of Colorado Springs; and two grandchildren, Ann Marie Smelser and Steven Smelser, both of Bowling Green.
She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother.
Mrs. Hermann had lived in Lakeland for seven years coming from Louisiana. She attended Crystal Lake United Methodist Church in Lakeland. Her hobbies included painting and crafts.
The Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements.
