Mr. Breeding was born December 29, 1913 in Oplin, Texas to Thomas and Delphia (Clements) Breeding. He was a lifelong resident of Oplin, graduating from Oplin High School. He was the widower of Lucille Harville whom he married October 26, 1935 in Lawn. Mr. Breeding served 25 years on the school boards for Oplin, Novice, and Clyde School Districts. He was a Deacon for Oplin Baptist Church, where he was a member and a Mason in the Baird Lodge for 60 years. Mr. Breeding Retired Callahan County Precinct 2 after 20 years.
Mr. Breeding is survived by three daughters, Shirley Landers and husband Jack and Dorothy Babe all of Oplin and Patricia Fox and husband Richard of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Vernon Breeding of San Marcos; one sister, Lillian Latiner of Abilene; nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son-in-law, Robert Bob Babe, three sisters, Eva, Veda, and Myrtle and one brother, Raymond.
