Daniel W. "Bill" Copple 62, Indianapolis, departed this life June 8, 2004 in Noblesville, IN.
In 1972, he bought an interest in Vanco R & R Equipment Services. In 1989, he sold his interest, but continued to work for the company until his death. He served his country for two years in the U.S. Army, 503rd Infantry Battalion at Ft. Bragg.
Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janet Schoentrup Copple; sons, Joseph W. and wife, Joelle Copple and Mark D. Copple; granddaughter, Heidi Christine Copple; sister, Lucinda Anders. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Hardie W. and Iola Orme Copple of Greensburg.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 11 at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 71st and Keystone followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, of which he was a member.
Interment: Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. this evening at the mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Holy Family Shelter.
