Newman – Thomas F, 73, a resident of Wilmington Township for the past 14 years, died suddenly today at his home following a heart attack. He had been ill for several months but his death was unexpected.
Mr. Newman was born in Braidwood where he resided until moving to Chicago 44 years ago He was an employee of the city water department of Cook County for 30 years.
Rites Saturday.
Surviving him are his widow Mary and one brother Albert of Chicago.
Funeral services are to be held Saturday morning at 9:15 a.m. from the Reeves funeral home to St Roses' church at 9:30 a.m.
The Rev. L.A. Peschon will officiate and burial is to be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington.
