CALDWELL — Services for Walter Eugene Wittenborn, 41, of 824 Chicago, who died unexpectedly Thursday morning at his home after an apparent heart attack, will be conducted at the Dakan Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. M. E. Wiggins of the Foursquare Gospel Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Canyon Hill.

Born April 2, 1927, in Hulbert, Okla., he came to Idaho with his parents at age nine. The family settled at Notus, where he attended schools. He joined the Navy in 1945, and served during World War II. He was married March 13, 1948, in Caldwell to Georgia LaVern Humphrey. He moved to Fairfield, Calif., in 1951 and returned to Caldwell in 1966. He was married last Aug. 21 in Reno, to Ella Mae Ashcraft.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Mrs. Ella Mae Wittenborn of Caldwell, are two sons, Terry E. Wittenborn of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Joe Wittenborn of Fairfield, Calif.; a daughter, Beverly Wittenborn of Fairfield; a step-son, Harlen Raine of Caldwell; a step-daughter, Mary Raine of Caldwell; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Wittenborn of Caldwell; two brothers, Boyd and Oral Wittenborn, both of Caldwell, and a sister, Mrs. Opal. Cagel of New Plymouth.
