((BIOGRAPHY VIA/Diane L. Teague Webb))
Ephraim and Rhoda Ann (Morris) Polk's daughter Nancy Ann Polk married Isaac Adams around 1819 Scott Co, KY, moving to Hancock Co, IN. and later to Rush Co, IN. He was youngest child of 2/h Moses Adams and Mrs. Sarah (Allen/Allyn) Munson of Eagle Creek area, Scott Co., KY. Land next to his step-sons Allen Munson and William Munson (my 5th ggfather) Diane Webb.

Because of the family connection to the Adams family Rhoda Ann Morris Polk is a witness to the Will of Moses Adams died 1828 Scott Co, KY. Very seldom do you see a woman in early records witnessing any legal documents. Will of Moses Adams, Scott Co, KY Will Book E., page 15, June 16, 1828. Adm. Bond page 48, Settlement page 76, Will is hard to read because of the fire in the Georgetown Courthouse in 1838 that destroyed all prior early marriage records, damaged Will and Probate, and Land records. Many of the words missing from smoke and water damage. Example last name of Adams but prominent in Index of Wills Book as Moses Adams. He appoints Terrill Adams and ----? as his executors. Rhoda Polk is one of the witnesses of this Will.
