Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for L. Keith Estes, 75, 113 Western, who died Friday night in a Topeka hospital where he had been a patient since Dec. 15. He had a heart ailment.
He was born June 24, 1900, at Cottonwood Falls and spent most of his life in Topeka. He was a salesman for automobile agencies in Topeka many years. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Cathedral.
He was married to Lillian Larson in 1923 at Manhattan. She died Oct. 23, 1957. He was married to Mrs. Helen Semprez Reeves May 5, 1961. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, James K. Estes, N.Y., Jerry Estes, 1150 Mulvane, and Tad Estes, Kansas City; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Sandra Charveze, 3005 Arnold, and Mrs. Virginia Pilarz, 511 Lincoln; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Van Winkle, Wichita; 10 grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Cathedral Building Fund, 701 W. 8th, 66606.
