"Mrs. John R. Bachman. Mrs. Mary L. Bachman, 82, of 243 E. Church Street, formerly of Hellertown, died this morning in Allentown Osteopathic Hospital. She was the widow of John R. Bachman. Born at Durham, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Amanda Trauger Ruth, and was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Hellertown. She was also a member of the Women's Guild of the Church, the Ladies of Golden Eagles of Hellertown, and Calypso Chapter 163 of the Order of the Eastern Star of Bethlehem. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Parsons of Allentown, and Joan Louise Bachman, at home; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Boehm, of Hellertown; three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be announced by Lester S. Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street."
