Althera V. Farnsworth

Mrs. Althera Vance Farnsworth, 75, 1566 S. West Temple, died to natural causes Sunday 2:45 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital.

Born Sept. 11, 1890 on Isaac (Reno) Vance and Marintha Martin Vance. Married to Charles William Farnsworth, June 12, 1912, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Served 17 years as a temple worker in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Former supervisor of lady temple workers. Member of the Daughter of Utah Pioneers.

Survivors, husband, sons and daughters, Kenneth C., Harlow, Gilbert O., Lawrence B., Mrs. Ina Phillips, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Frederick (Ruth) Trask, Mrs. James (Laura) Forrestal, Rockland Ore, 28 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Reed Vance, Salt Lake City, Sterling Vance, Los Angeles, Calif., Bliss Vance, Cleveland, Oh, Jess Vance, Chicago, Ill.

Funeral Thursday, 1 p.m. Jefferson LDS Ward Chapel, 1510 Richards St. Friends call 124-14 East, Wednesday 6 - 8 p.m., Thursday at Ward chapel one hour prior to services. Burial Valley View Memorial Park.
