On Oct 30, 1828 in Stark he married Catherine Sophia Massure, daughter of James Massure and Hannah Blake.
They had 13 children, three of which died before they were given a name. Their son Francis died at 17 yrs, Hannah M. died at 8 mos, William Z died at 7 yrs, and Benjamin Guy died at 21 yrs.
The ones who survived and married were Apphia Jane, Dorcas Pike, Harriette, Mary, James Eri, and Hannah (two daughters were named Hannah). This Hannah married William Blake and then Charles Henson.

The death certificate that was later written up for him incorrectly lists his death date as April 1, 1873, which is also repeated in the book Peverly Family: Thomas Peverly of Portsmouth, NH. His headstone lists it as Feb 25, 1874.
