Marcella Connor, age 80, of Goldonna, La. passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Forest Haven Nursing Home.
Mrs. Connor was a retired nurse. She was a member of Antioch Community Church and a member of Palestine Chapter #55 Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Connor was preceded in death by her parents, Elvie Lee Martin and Alma Carr Martin and four children.
Mrs. Connor is survived by her husband, Bill Connor of Goldonna, one sister, Bonnie Carpenter of Goldonna, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and a very special pet named "Schatce".
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday April 8, 2011 at the Antioch Community Church, Brewton's Mill with Bro. Hayward Hossler officiating. Interment will be in the Antioch Community Cemetery.
Serving as pallbeaers are, Billy Martin, J. T. Taylor, Mitchell Taylor, Richard Kelley, Trey Morgan, David Morgan and honorary pallbearer, Terry Durbin.
Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, Thursday from 5-9PM
