Mr. John Quinton Durbin, Sr., age 57, died suddenly Thursday, June 2, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Durbin was born in Hodge, Louisiana November 5, 1947 to Quinton and Marcella Martin Durbin.
Funeral services were held Tuesday June 7, 2005 at 11a.m. in Antioch Community Church near Calvin with Reverend Hayward Hostler and Reverend Yancey Martin officiating. Burial was in Antioch Community Cemetery.
Mr. Durbin is survived by two sons, John Quinton Durbin, Jr. and wife Geneva of Holly Ridge and Terry Glenn Durbin and wife Sharon of Montgomery ; daughter, Angela Smith of Bossier City; mother, Marcella Connor and husband Bill of Brewton's Mill; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Rudy Mecart, Gary Gibbs, Stewart Ferguson, Jimmy Martin, Billy Martin and Wesley Martin.
Services were under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.************************
