Doris E. Jones, 78, Congerville, Illinois, passed away at 11:25 p.m. Sunday (April 15, 2012) at Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka, Illinois.
She was born Aug. 17, 1933 in Thawville, Illinois to Leon Danforth and Ethel Daugherty Conn. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one grandson. She married Jack K. Jones on Jan. 30, 1955 in Onarga, illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dr. Steven K. (Patty) Jones, Eureka, Illinois and Thomas (Gale) Jones, Findley, Ohio; two daughters, Susan (Dennis) Minton, North Pekin, Illinois and Deborah (Scott) Clark, Champaign, Illinois; one brother, Ronald (Bonita) Conn, Onarga; two sisters, Eloise Fisher, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Reta (Donald) Benson, Thawville; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
