Cora Francis Tommie Harris was the daughter of James Alexander Tommie and Charlcie Browning. She married William Arthur Burke on Dec. 1, 1910. She was 13. They a daughter Ora Katerine Burke, born 1912. Wiliam Arthur Burke died in 1913. On Dec. 19, 1915 she married, Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Harris . In the 1990s, the Tomme family members reported that they'd always heard that at least two of Cora's children, born after William Arthur Burke died, were fathered by a relative of William Arthur Burke's. However, records found since that time, do not appear to support that allegation. Perhaps confusion stems from fact that Cora's 2nd husband Frank Harris had three young sons by his first wife, Minnie Hicks, who were reared by Minnie.
