On April 18, 2012, our father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father, just two weeks after his loving wife passed away April 4, 2012. They are partners again with their Father in Heaven and loved ones who passed before them.

He missed his wife so much and you could see it in his face. He was just not the same without her.

My father served in World War II and was discharged with honor.

He loved music and was with many bands around the valley.
I grew very close to him during the six years I was living with my parents and learned to love and respect them.
He worked for the education system for many years and then worked for the recorder's office until he retired.

He spent many hours on the rivers fishing with his brother Ez for the big catch - which for them, they were all the big catch.

He is survived by his daughter, Sydnee; his brother John; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

Dad we love you but we know you are back with mom again. Happy forever!

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, April 21, at the Logan 6th Ward, 94 W. 600 South in Logan, with a viewing from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, in the Logan City Cemetery.

Condolences and thoughts may be expressed to the family online at www.allenmortuaries.net.
