Eleanore Josephine Myhrwold Emerson age 93, passed away on 2/23/12. A loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born 1/8/1919 in Alden Twp., WI, graduated from Osceola High School and moved to Mpls to work. Married childhood sweetheart, Clarence G. Emerson and built a marriage of 50 years together in the cities of Mpls and Minnetonka until his passing. Eleanore retired from a career as a Northwestern Bell Telephone Operator. It was a job she took much pride in and developed lifelong friends. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence; parents, George and Jenny Pauline Myhrwold; 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Survived by children, Ron (Marysia), Judy (David) Williams; brother, Stuart Myhrwold of WV; brother-in-law, Bob Tripp of AZ; grandchildren, Dwight Emerson, DeNita (Rob) Umland, Randy Williams; great-grandchildren, Nolan and Riley Umland, Alexis Williams; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. Special thanks to the staff at Maranatha Presbyterian Home and the hospice aid in Brooklyn Center for taking such wonderful care of our amazing Eleanore.
