Stuart George Myhrwold, 81, of Huntington, WV. passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at the Heritage Center, Huntington, WV. He was born August 12, 1930 in Alden Township, Polk County, WI son of the late George and Pauline Johnson Myhrwold. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Frances June Myhrwold; one brother; and five sisters. He is survived by one son Rich (Carolyn) Myhrwold of Huntington, WV; two granddaughters Angela Myhrwold and Scott Morehouse of Huntington, WV and Bethany (Bryan) Czapor of Beckley, WV; two great grandchildren Chloe Elizabeth and Connor Joseph; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce and Lester Williams of Londonderry, NH. He was a retired maintenance supervisor with Kyowva Corrugated Container, Guyandotte, WV. He was an U.S. Army veteran, a member of Huntington American Legion Post #16, Huntington Masonic Lodge #53 AF & AM, Huntington Scottish Rite. He was also a shriner and an usher at the Marshall University football and basketball games. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the third floor staff at the Heritage Center. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Abbey of Remembrance Mausoleum, Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. by Rev. Keith Creasy. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the mausoleum. Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
