Joseph C. Clark died at his home near Gladdens Corner, Lafayette route 7, Tuesday morning after an illness of a year and one-half. Mr. Clark was born near where he died on December 29, 1891, son of Wilson G. and Addie (Ellis) Clark, and spent his entire life in that vicinity. He married Miss Linnie Kahn on July 8, 1915. He was a member of the Stockwell M. E. Church and of the Masonic Lodge at Clarks Hill. Surviving are the widow; one son, Dale; his father, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Thompson, all at the same address. Funeral services in charge of Rev. C. V. Roush, were held from the family residence yesterday afternoon; Concord cemetery.
