Infant daughter of Mary Ann Phelps (third wife) and LDS Apostle Charles Coulson Rich.

(after the threat from Johnson's Army - news had arrived that Johnson's Army had started for Utah with orders to exterminate the Mormons, and the army was expected to take possession of Salt Lake city.)

From her mother's 1905 autobiography:

"Following this I was located in Centerville, Davis County. My health was broken down and I was sick most of the time, but still I got better after I got back to the Utah valley, it being cooler. In 1859 I had another daughter born; we called her Paulina. In 1860 Mr. Rich and Amasa Lyman were called to preside over the European Mission. We all lived in Centerville now, except Mr. Rich's first wife (who lived in Salt Lake City,) and we remained here during the time he was gone.
In the fall of 1860 my baby Paulina died, was buried in Salt Lake City, and in 1862 my husband returned from his mission."

Note: Thanks to Chesnut/Behunin Descendant for tracking down this burial - Little Paulina has no stone and her location recorded by Utah Burials Database was wrong, or was merely a grave number, GRV474 ...see caption on the photo enlargement for explanation.
