Obituary:
Floyd Allen Bash, Jr., 80, passed away April 13, 1999. Mr. Bash was a retired member of the Society of Actuaries, and was an active church member in both Jacksonville and Park Rapids, Minnesota. He was an officer in the U. S. Navy during WWII, and served in the South Pacific. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Jane; a brother, Dr. Lawrence Bash of Kansas City, Kansas; three sons, Reverend Floyd Allen Bash III of Rockport, Missouri, Brian Bash of Malvern, Pennsylvania and David Bash of Omaha, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild. His circle of friends and family extends from coast to coast, and he will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at Riverside Avenue Christian Church Saturday, April 17, 1999, at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Rick Hull. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Riverside Avenue Christian Church in his memory.
